Is it possible to have a job alert? I wish to be informed each time a job is available.

    Hi Christelle!

So sorry for the late reply, it's Thanksgiving here, in Canada.

This functionality hasn't been properly developed yet, but if you're looking for more work here's what you can do:

    1) Make sure your profile is 100% complete.

When your profile is incomplete it won't show up in our directory of translators and clients simply won't be able to find you. So, complete profile is super important.

    2) Keep an eye on your private messages and emails you receive.

Clients can message you on the platform. It is important to check your messages daily or setup email notifications to make sure you don't miss a thing. You can do this in your Account Settings.

    3) Invite your existing clients to leave you a review on The Open Mic.

Your profile has Reviews tab. This is where your clients can leave you 5-star reviews. The more positive reviews you get, the higher your chances of being discovered by new clients. You can use this template if you want to invite your clients to leave you a review on The Open Mic.

    4) Become a blogger.

Blogging is a great way to show your expertise and professionalism. Visit our home page and read articles written by other members of our community to find some inspiration and get a better idea of what you could write about on The Open Mic. Once you're ready to publish your first story just log into your account and click Publish Article in the upper right corner.

    5) Don't be a stranger.

The Open Mic is all about community and open communication. Be friendly. Make new friends. Read and comment on articles published by other members. Start new discussions on our forum. In other words: be an active member of community, focus on giving back and helping people and this won't go unnoticed. People like working with people they know and trust. If you show your professionalism and build meaningful relationships with other members of our community, they might refer work to you.

    6) Check out jobs on our forum.

We now have a dedicated Jobs section on our forum. Take a peek to see if there's anything that fits your profile.

Let me know if it helps!
